This is my first time buying craftreat papers and I must say they are incredible!!!
I have used Cute Cuddly Boy for my recent project and I had a great time working with it.
What I like about the paper pack:
- The papers are of great quality
- Lovely prints (Especially that of a baby sleeping on a moon)
- Not the usual “baby boy” bluish colours but shades of yellow, green and brown.
- Pre-cut Tags – Now that is something very thoughtful!
What I think could have been better:
- The colour is typically not the same as whats in the cover (Probably because of different media used). Nevertheless they are subtle and beautiful.
NOTE: There is a pattern paper which records all of the baby’s “firsts” and the paper has been printed trice like the rest of it. I found this of not much use to me as I ended up making only one scrapbook but for those who make many out of one paper pack, this is going to be a hit.
Over all, I LOVED IT!
Here is what I made
Thanks for stopping by!! 🙂
Its been long since I had posted in my blog. The entire month had been rough with kids falling ill almost every other week.
Mehwish has been going to school on her own for the past week and it is such a relief. I am getting enough time to craft and have some “me” time, But I miss her terribly (Though its only for 3 hours a day)
Well, coming back to the post. I have made some post cards with Casual Friday stamps that I got as a gift voucher after winning a lucky draw at Time out challenge. Being new to stamping, I did not have appropriate inks so I wanted to try something new.. I applied a thick coat of watercolour and stamped the sentiments on to the post card. I totally loved the effect!!
All of the post cards are painted 🙂 and are off to some crafty friends…
I am linking this to August Challenge post CASO4
Encouragement post cards made for fellow crafters in the colour theme given in the challenge.

Here I am with summer cards that I made using Crafty Scrappers mini stamps..
I wanted to go CAS but I really don’t know if this would be considered 🙂
I used the ice cream stamp and thought of adding some bubbles in this card to give it a “Cool” look… however, I skipped it in the other cards as I didn’t feel it did any good 😛
I really wanted to give funky coloured backgrounds so I made the rest of the cards in different colours but with the same theme and idea..
I am linking my cards to CASalogy- Juicy

I made this Flip folio today because I really didn’t want to miss our participating in some of the exciting challenges. I bet my entry is going to be the last in most of the challenges I am entering this project in. (Last min as always)
I have used Papericious papers and their flowers in the front panel.
I bought this cute Saturated Canary stamp recently and couldnt wait to use it. I however had a tough time getting a crisp and nice image after inking it with versa as it was a rubber stamp. After multiple tries, I settled for this! 🙂
Take a look!!!
Here is the inside:
I am linking this to Papericious India July Challenge TIC- TAC-TOE.
I have chosen the center Column- Pattern Paper, Flower and their lovely Sequins are used in the front panel.
I am also linking this project to Double D challenge “Black and white with a pop of colour“. I mainly stuck to using only black, white and pink for this particular challenge 🙂 I totally loved this theme!!

I have made some simple Mudra Interactive Book marks with their stamp. I was in a process of making book marks for the kids at school but when I saw the challenge posted by them, I thought I would give it a shot by making some interactive ones as well 🙂
Take a look!
This is a pull out Book mark I made for a little chap who likes Horror stories.. 🙂
Two shaker Book marks in different shapes. In the first one I have used watercolour for the background.
This is another one for the horror stories .. A peep open book mark with little ghosts! 🙂 I drew it all and coloured using zigs.. except for the lovely stamp from Mudra:-) ( I am linking this to Double D challenge- a pop of colour in black and white :))
I should say the stamping was super crisp and easy.. all in one go!!! I didn’t have to re stamp anywhere or fill in the colors, even the thinnest of the letters were super crisp!!!
I am entering this for the challenge Interactive Project! 🙂
Thanks a lot for stopping by!!!:-)
Its been a while since I had bought this stamp set from Mudra but have not had an opportunity to use it until now.
I had some watercolor papers that I used for stamping..
I also made some Interactive Mudra Bookmarks for which I have created a separate post..
Take a look at these! 🙂
I dont own many stamps, So I drew the book worm and coloured with Zig markers…
Again this a doodled flower that I cut and fussy coloured…
Random wavy background with water colours ..
I have a lot of unused dies that my husband had gifted for my last birthday, Thought this was the right time to start using them..
Thank you so much for stopping by!!!
I had come across this lovely background created my Marcie Sharp for Muse Challenge this week and I couldn’t wait to try it out.
My paints had all been dried out for long but there were hints of it in some of the colours which I have used in my card. Instead of black as the base colour or the major background, I have chosen white. I initially used a wide brush to spread the colors around but then preferred my fingers to it as it gave a much more satisfying look.
The die I have used is “My best friend” from Sizzix.
- I sprayed some water on my watercolor sheet.
- I bushed some poster colour on it and filled the paper with other colours that weren’t dry.
- I added white colour with my finger.
- I cut out the excess sheet and added the die cut to it (I had some shimmery sheets left from my previous project)
- I did not have a black card stock at the moment so I painted the border black to stick my card on it.
Here is what it looks like:
